DONNA SUMMER - CRAYONS

WOW!!!!, All I can say is explosive. Ella and BusyBoy had the opportunity to do wardrobe for Miss Summer and the rest of the wonderful dancers, singers and band members. Donna Summer sounded better than she did twenty years ago and the stage show was amazing. The new album she has out is her best work ever. I have to say " Fame"  is probably my favorite song but I do like several others like "Stamp Your Feet" and the title song "Crayons" with Ziggy Marley is incredible as well. BusyBoy gives this album two thumbs up and recommends everyone to pick up a copy. Also you have to see her live if you get the opportunity because this is one of the best stage shows I have seen in a long long time, HOT STUFF.

Ella is currently working on her national debut album “Stunned By Sun Rays,” a triumph being produced by Grammy Award winner Dana Bailey.  Her debut single “So Love” is now available on iTunes, Sony Connect, and Rhapsody.  Ella’s record label, BusyBoy Entertainment is proud to announce “So Love,” and the work involved for the entire album.  With such explosive and captivating vocals and lyrics, BusyBoy Entertainment is preparing to move Ella forward towards the big stage.

In the early years of Ella’ professional career, she was drawn into working freelance for several outstanding design firms such as: Stylist Heather Shore, Chicago’s own Stone Magazine, jewelry designer Jill Krongard, Jillibean Design, and Fasthorse Inc, to name a few.  With her heart and soul on the eternal pulse of music, and performing with multiple bands, such as Fergus of Berkley, Ella discovered her true talent as a Solo Artist; a “true gem” in the industry with the vitality and flair to be a triple-threat.

 Now in full swing, Ella is reborn in collaboration with the incredible team at BusyBoy Entertainment to present this debut album with her work as singer/songwriter as well as her work as a designer and songwriter for other artists, and the label itself.

Ella's New album will be along the lines of acoustic groove with elements of global nakedness and raw emotion, vulnerability, which aids itself to a source of strength through which most writers gain momentum. Michael Shipp

THE NEW MICHAEL SHIPP CD PROJECT HAS WRAPPED!! Produced by Billy Bob Thornton, the new CD will feature Thornton as well as several surprise guest artists. In addition, Michael's bandmates, Kenny Hall and Nick Shipp perform on the CD. The project wrapped recently after Michael finished touring with old pal Billy Bob on the Beautiful Door Tour, Thornton's CD released on Universal New Door Records in late July. Stay tuned for more information on Michael's new CD slated for release late spring of '08. On tour with Billy Bob and bandmates, Michael played guitar and bass . Also, Michael has been busy playing in the Boxmaster's with Thornton. You can visit the Boxmaster's website to find out what the new Hillbilly sound is all about. Shipp has worked with Thornton on various CD projects and recent World Tours supporting Billy Bob's CD releases. The two began a friendship over 30 years ago, performing in high school bands in Arkansas, later performing in Tres Hombres, the original ZZ Top Tribute Act. The guys had migrated to Houston, TX in the early 1980's and released a vinyl LP back in the day titled : Tres Hombres, Gunslinger. With Nick Shipp on bass, the Big Daddy on guitar, and Billy Bob on drums, the trio toured the south receiving some airplay and critical acclaim for the Gunslinger project. Michael and band are currently at home in Arkansas rehearsing for next years tour which will feature the new tunes, a brand new show and promises to be even more 'in your face' boogie than the last CD, Adventures of Roosterboy (AVAILABLE AT CDBABY.COM AND OTHER ONLINE SITES). Nick Shipp is a boogie bass player whose prowess on his special 1963 Gibson Thunderbird and massive stack of Ampeg SVT amp has been known to stun a few folks. Kenny Hall has played drums professionally for over 30 years. His stints as a young musician in the Buckinghams and the Box Tops provided more road experience than many musicians ever get. WHITE LIONWhite Lion

White Lion initially left it’s mark in the late 80’s with a series of hit singles and video’s that defined the MTV generation, thanks to the likes of “Wait”, “When The Children Cry”, “Tell Me”, “Broken Heart” and “Little Fighter”. But equally so, the band was also recognized for it’s signature album tracks that transcended soci-policital themes such as “Lady Of The Valley”, “Cry For Freedom”, “Lights N Thunder” and “Warsong”.

If recent stand out performances alongside some of the biggest names in rock at the Gods Of Metal, Sweden Rock and Rocklahoma festivals isn’t testimony enough, then new album “Return Of The Pride” will surely once again assert White Lion as a legitimate musical force. The first White Lion record in over 16 years , “Return Of The Pride” is put simply, classic rock in it’s truest form and a representation of the musical influences that have attached themselves over time” declares lead singer Mike Tramp.

Recorded during 2007 in both Australia and Copenhagen and in between touring commitments, “Return Of The Pride” kicks off with “Sangre de Cristo”, a thunderous epic that ventures into lyrical and musical territories best heard, than described. “Battle At Little Bighorn” is the album’s other soaring epic, a musical re-enactment of one of Native America’s most significant historical event’s, Custer’s Last Stand. Hook laden rockers such as “Dream”, “Live Your Life” and “Finally See The Light” maintain a positive musical and lyrical vibe throughout the album, whereas “Gonna Do It My Way” and “Let Me Be Me” are the modern day “Livin On The Edge” songs of rebellion.

Produced by Mike Tramp and bassist Claus Langeskov, Tramp says of the album’s title: “Return Of The Pride” could be interpreted in many ways. In a musical sense we have taken a step back in time, rather than a step forward in time. Over the course of this album lyrically and musically many concepts and themes have been explored, maybe “Return Of The Pride” means something entirely different”.

The band features what is now a truly international line-up of musicians handpicked by Mike himself. “We are not interested in fixing what isn’t broke. Our mission is simple, to bring the classic sound of White Lion to the people across the world that still live for that music”.

White Lion is set to appear live in the summer 2008 with the plan to storm the European audiences. Get ready for the “Return of the Pride” to be released on Frontiers Records on March 14 with a release in Japan scheduled on King Records.
